The Freestyle Department of YWAM Davos just returned from a week in YWAM Central Europe focus city – Sarajevo, Bosnia.

During the outreach of last years Snowboarders DTS we became close friends with a group of local riders who were eager to have us back. It is humbling that despite their difficult past as a nation they are so open and willing to share their lives with us in genuine friendship.

A couple of weeks ago we sent out our 5th DTS outreach team to be little world changers, this time in South Africa again. We are thankful to look upon the last years filled with blessings, favor, and challenges.

As a YWAM Davos core team we sat together and asked the Lord to show us what His heart is for the time that is in front of us. It is our desire to understand the blue-print of God’s kingdom, so we would be able to reflect it here in Davos and beyond, where ever we go. God has then started to talk to us about Isaiah 54.

It’s a Friday Night in November 2011. It is dark and cold outside. Usually there is already snow in a beautiful town tucked away in the Swiss Alps. The skateboards of the local youth are stored away and the snowboards and skies are waxed and ready to hit the slops. But at that night, something was different. You see young people with their skateboards going to a large building midst in town. It’s where YWAM Davos is having their Snowboarders DTS and the first Stache Skate Session took place.

It was a real blessing for us as GoTeam to be there. Especially because it's a goal of ours to support each other. Yes the fact that we were able to surf was pleasing too. Check out below, what CS reported about the event.
