What We Do
As a YWAM Training centre, we offer a few different schools and training programs each year, which includes two Discipleship Training Schools (DTS). We also offer a short-term missions trip and have a heart to volunteer locally whenever we can. Click the button below to learn more about each of the things we have to offer!
We strive to be a positive presence in the local community of Davos. There are many opportunities to be involved in the city ranging from volunteering options to clubs or groups to be involved in. As a YWAM community, our hope is to be a positive influence on the people around us. We strive to bring the love and joy of God with us wherever we go and share that with everyone around us!
Embrace is our short-term outreach trip and is offered to allow locals and people all over Switzerland experience a taste of missions. It is a two week program including a training weekend and an outreach. The goal is to go wherever there is a need - wether that is volunteering at a refugee camp, working at an orphanage or anything else. Our focus is to serve wherever God sends us. For dates and more information, check out the Embrace website.
Discipleship Training Schools
The purpose of a DTS is to help students grow in their relationship with God and equip them to impact the world! There are two parts - a lecture phase and an outreach phase. Lecture phase is 12 weeks of intense teaching and the outreach is 8-14 weeks of spreading God’s love and hope in a different country. Overall, it’s a life-changing experience that will help students discover more of who God is and who He created them to be!
We currently offer two Discipleship Training Schools per year - one in the summer and one in the winter. For more information about DTS, check it out here!
Leadership Training Program
As a part of our YWAM training programs, we also offer three levels of leadership training. The programs are intended to be done in order as each one builds off of the one before it. These training schools are offered for DTS graduates - regardless of where the DTS was done. It’s a great opportunity to grow in leadership, character development and practice dependence on God as students venture farther beyond their comfort zone and deeper into their calling. The schools are spread out over one full school year and can include staffing a DTS.
