Celebrating 19 Years of God’s Faithfulness

As this chapter comes to a close, we want to take time to celebrate all that God has done in and through this community — the stories, the people, and the countless moments of His faithfulness.

It will be a day of worship, stories, laughter, tears, and gratitude — a time to reconnect, honour the journey, and celebrate together what God has been writing through YWAM Davos since 2007.

Pentecostal Church Davos

After our Meet & Greet—with snacks and drinks—we will gather to share stories and testimonies of what God has done over the past 19 years through YWAM Davos, culminating in a time of worship and prayer as we give thanks to Him. We want to express our deep gratitude to God for all He has done.

This is more or less the place where it all began—a former Dutch asthma clinic—where people from this church welcomed us warmly and served us sandwiches as we moved to Davos.

We would also love to spend time together enjoying a BBQ and simply having a great time together.

Food and fellowship have always been a central part of our ministry—so let’s enjoy it once more in this beautiful place that has been our home for the past 13 years.

Let’s hope for good weather, so we can gather around an open fire and continue walking down memory lane together.

The Salvation Army has not only been a home and a safe place for the Gubler family, but also a great source of support and a valued partner in many of our YWAM adventures. What a fitting place to hold a celebration church service.

Afterglow

YWAM Davos

The Afterglow is the lingering light after a sunset—peaceful and warm.  After all the celebrations, we would love to take some more time simply to be together—remaining in that thankfulness in our hearts and dwelling in beautiful memories. Because even when a season ends, His light remains.

A simple lunch will be served. Also some sweet treats, coffee, tea and some cool drinks.
